The shipyard occupies 950m natural deep water shore line of Yangtze River, total area around 35 hectares. Main facilities and equipment are advanced and integral, as follows: (except marked with 2nd stage, all items to be ready in 1st stage)
1.1# Drydock (2nd stage): 260x60m. 300t gantry with span 100m; two cranes with 30t capacity along with; 15100m2 assembling and welding platform.
2.2# Slipway: 220x48m. 200t gantry with span 80m; two cranes with 30t capacity along with (common used with 3# slipway); 14300m2 assembling and welding platform.
3.3# Slipway: 220x60m. 300t gantry with span 100m; two cranes with 30t capacity along with (common used with 2# slipway); 15100m2 assembling and welding platform.
4.Shore wall type outfitting wharf: 230x20m. Two cranes with 30t capacity arranged.
5.No.1 Hull Workshop: 330x30mx2 rows. 50t and 20t cranes are equipped respectively. Main equipment:：numerical control plasma cutting machine, numerical control torch cutting machine, door type cutting machine, optically-controlled torch cutting machine, semi-automatically trace cutting machine, 800t numerical control revolving doortype hydraulic pressure machine, 300t C type hydraulic pressure machine, 400t numerical control cold frame bending machine, three-roller bending machine, board cutting machine etc. large quantities of advanced welding equipment.
6.No. 2 Hull Workshop (2nd stage): 300x30mx2 rows. Main equipment is the same as No.1 Hull Workshop.
7.Painting Workshop: 100x40m. The ability of steel grit blasting per eight hours could reach 2500m2 (class Sa2.5). The ability of painting is designed for one blasting with three paintings. Main system including: blasting system, grit circulating system, girt/ dust separating system, whole room ventilation dust cleaning system, humidity removing system, paint spraying system, spray fog treatment system, steam heating system, electric control system, flexible gate etc. The workshop is arranged as a garage pattern gate to gate, convenient for the blocks in and out, without any influence by the weather condition.
8.Outfitting Workshop: 100x18m. Equipped with two 16t gantry cranes.
9.Piping Center: 100x18m. Equipped with two 8t gantry cranes.
10.Assembling center：100x18m. Equipped with two10t gantry cranes.
11.Steel pre-treatment workshop: 70x18m. Equipped with two 16t gantry cranes and a pre-treatment assembly line. They can deal with the steel plate up to 4m in width,,40mm in thickness, and profiles with web height up to 450mm.
12.Materials stack yard: 70x30m. Equipped with a harbor type unloading wharf, one 50t gantry crane, one 16t electric-magnetic crane.
13Air-compressor Station：32x15m. Equipped with six 40m3/min. screw air compressors, air supply pressure 1.0mpa.
14.Transformer station: 35,000volt high voltage.
15.Oxygen, propane, CO2 gas station: (2nd stage).
